OsbornAnna Osborn, 91, a native of Sidney who was born in what is now called the Fort Sidney Officers' Home, died Thursday at the Memorial Rest Home. Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at the Gehrig & Son Funeral home with the Rev. Paul Konig officiating. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery.Mrs. Osborn was born 14 Nov 1885. Her father was William Stuht.She married Leo Ernest Osborn Feb. 14, 1909, in Sidney. Mrs. Osborn was active in the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church and a past president of Eastern Star.Mr. Osborn and Al Jorgenson went into the real estate business as partners and the Osborn Insurance business was in operation until the last few years. Mr. Osborn died Feb. 19, 1959. Their son, Ralph Osborn, worked in the business for many years and died June 6, 1970.Mrs. Osborn worked with the insurance company until her retirement two years ago.She is survived by several nieces and nephews.Memorials have been established to the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.Date: Apr 1977

Osborn, 60, died early Saturday morning at Fort Meade Veterans Hospital in Sturgis, S. D. He died in his sleep, apparently the victim of a heart attack.Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Gehrig and Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Harlan A. Brei of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Military rites will be conducted at the graveside.The Heart Fund has been designated for memorials.Ralph Stuht Osborn was born Jan. 12, 1910, in Sidney to Leo E. and Anna Stuht Osborn. He graduated from Sidney High School and attended the University of Wyoming. He served during World War II and later went into the insurance busines with his father.He was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church and a retired member of the Sidney Volunteer Fire Department.
