Saw the cowan ansestory on the web, on margaret eliz cowan, daughter of mary gilmer and george rutledge cowan, you have ira reynods listed as the spouse, it is incorrect, it is ira reynolds fuller, he was my great great grandpa, his daughter mattie s. fuller was my grandpa's mom.

anyway mattie s fuller my great great gram, married william edminston gilmer,his parents were william gilmer son of judith clifton and sam e gilmer,sam e is son of william morgan gilmer jr. and margaret edminston, it is either martha or margaret.
great gramdfather william was b. in 1868, his mom was margaret furguson,she died in 1872

william 1898- 1976,willaim layfette i think this is the spelling, this is my grandfather, he married eddie davis about 1922, eddie parents were mary wysor davis, and marsh davis of swords creek va.marsh died in 1826, and mary in 1949.

hope all this is not too confusing. also i see ya have info on john wysor b 1830 d 1904 married to a stinson, firstly he was married to mary jane lee, and had a son beverly j wysor b 1856, beverly married patsey riley my gg grandma, she died in 1877 having one child my g grandma mary wysor davis, b 1876 d 1949 and buried in the davis cemetary in swords creek.wait a minute i am speaking of john g wysor son of adam, hope there is not another john around to confuse us jim.my john died in 1904 and was a civil war vet, he could have had another son and named him john,anyway hope its okay i have never been known for my organization jim, i do know my john married a stinson also after mary jane died.
