I believe I am the gr. gr. grandaughter of Francis Marion Fuller (my records show she is a he) son of Fleming and Martha Fuller. My Francis Marion married Isophene (Sophia) Medlock. They had James Calvin Fuller one of the brothers that owner/operated Fuller Brothers Store.

Martha Combs was my gg grandmother. I was told after Fleming died, she moved to Hancock County, Tn and married a man named Elkannnah Snapp, I think the first name is correct- not sure. I heard they lived on Copper Ridge in the eastern end of the county. They are buried in the Snapp cemetery. One of the oldest graves there might be her father-in-law, Alexander.
Martha's son, Francis Marion Fuller, is my great grandfather from Hancock County, Tn. His son is my grandfather, Irvin Marion Fuller.

After Fleming Beverly Fuller died of typhoid fever on Feb. 1, 1853, his wife Martha (Combs)Fuller married Elkanah R. D. Snapp Nov. 7, 1861. They settled in Hancock Co., TN in the 1860's. They had three surviving children. Francis Fuller married Isaphenia Horton. They had ten children and at least 27 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, and 22 great great grandchildren.

Francis Marion Fuller was the 2nd child of Fleming Beverly Fuller and Martha Combs.
Fleming Beverly Fuller was the 6th child of Mary (Polly) Burk, b c1799 in Russell Co., VA and William Isaiah Fuller.
Mary Burk was the 4th child of Flewming Burk, Sr., b Nov 29, 1767, Caroline Co., VA and Rebecca (Bush) Miller.
Fleming Burk, Sr. was the 4th child of Thomas Burk, Sr., b c1731 and Ann George.
Thomas Burk, Sr. was the 6th child of Henry Burk (our common ancester), b c1698, Middlesex Co., VA and Judith (Clark) Trigg.
Henry Burk was the 7th child of John Burk, b c 1656 Middlesex Co., Va.
John Burk was the child of John Burk, b c1633 in England and came to VA c 1650.

I am from the Fuller line in your family tree. My great grandfather was Francis Marion Fuller and grandfather Irvin Marion Fuller from Tennessee.
I have a question concerning the Burk's. (Mary "Polly" Burk) When I lived in Northern Virginia, I lived near Burk, Virginia. Do you have any idea whether this town was named after any of Mary P. Burk's descendants?
If you are interested in further information on Irvin's line I can certainly provide it. He had numerous brothers and sisters in his family and if you would like, I can send information on them, as well.
