Hi Aruthur.
you must think I'M just a bit crazy really I'm not but then thats my mistake , I was just so excited to hear from your Dad, not ever knowing that he had any children,Ijust got confused. It sounds like you have a real winner in your son and you can't tell him how proud you are of him enough but I'm sure that you do and that is why
he is so accomplished, and I'm sure Karen had a lot to do with his accomplishments, you both sound like
winners to me.well I have rambled on enough for today, and don't think I'm insane .

Wed, 26 Apr 2000 22:06:31 -0600

Hi again I can't tell you only of two times that your Dad was in the mountains with the Family and I can't even remember how old we were I just remember after we ate the fish your Dad would go around and eat all
the fish tales and Mom would tell him that they were no good for him ,but he said they were so good and crispy
well it is time for to going to bed so will talk to you later. Do you have any sisters or brothers

Fri, 28 Apr 2000 19:37:33 -0600

Dear Arthur,
This is only as it was told to me , I had pneumonia when I was real small and they tell me I was at deaths door but I made it by the skin of my teeth. I do not remember Edna at all for as I figure it she left for Denver when I was about three. Idid the usual things kids do like go to school and church every sunday like it or not, then Mom and
Dad would go camping every summer up Ogden cayon, and she would take all of the little babies up there with them and that is the only vacation that I can remember, We had a lot of fun all of us kids there was a deep hole in the river that we would go swiming inand if you didn't know how to swim you soon learned for the older ones would throw you in the river, some saturdays Dad would give me a dime to go to the movies during the day,the kids in the neighbor hood would play hide and seek or kick the can all thoes fun games that most kids have never heard of, and then after I finished school I became a soda jerk at wallgreens and then a waitress at ross and jakes on the red light district there on twenty fifth street, how ever so was the city and county building right there, then I got a job as an elevator operator in the city anc county building, that was where I met my husband as he was trying to get more gas stamps as he was a flying instructor in the navy there in Ogden ,and from there on Ithink I have told you the rest. and that was my life.amen. this has been so therputic for me you can't emagine thank you for
asking. Do you think Icould write a book and become famous, ha, ha. your Great Aunt Ruth

Sun, 30 Apr 2000 22:20:26 -0600

Iam happy you got back all in one piece, when we went to mexico we were not smart and drove our car and when we got back from looking around they had stolen that was not bolted down that was the last time for us, I have
gather up some old stuff and will be sending it in the mail in the morning, the picture of the back of the house where Mom and Dad are is not any thing what your Grandmother lived the babk part was built on latter and so was the front , the place where she lived was way back in the property it had two bedrooms a kitchen and a small room for company, and it must have had wall to wall beds in it for seven of the family to live in the brother Robert was the first babyborn in that house it was a little bit bigger than the other one was but still not big enough for nine but Iguess that was the good old days,Dad made the old homestead into a chicken coop and he raised chickens. well it is getting late and hubby has gone to bed so Iguess I must follow, and will talk to you later

Take care , Aunt Ruth

makes all laugh with me, for I have to laugh every time Ithink about it. Well that is my tell of woe . Happy to hear that your son won and maybe some Day we will be able to hear him play.what a joy he must be to you and Keren. and I know he has a very proud Grandfather, well Arthur here I have gone rattling on again so I will send what

Mon, 5 Jun 2000 20:28:15 -0600

Dear Arthur , Just wanted to let you know that we went to the vital sta. and got your grandmothers birth certificate and will send it of tomorow, and I don't know why but mom and dad didn't name her at birth , so her name is not on the certificate , it sure brings up a lot of questions that they could not give any answers to , I did find out that the vital stats. began in 1905 and now I have no one to ask the questions to, as children we never know what questions to ask and then when you do ask they say oh that was so long ago I don't remember .so what do you do.,don't know what else I can tell you right now so will send E-Mail later . Aunt Ruth

Sat, 10 Jun 2000 12:09:55 -0600

Dear Arthur received your E-Mail and happy to hear you got the birth certificate, received a letter from your dad yesterday and have got to reply I don't know where the time goes but then I am not very good at coresponding. beleive nothing that you hear and only half of what you see I think that is the way the saying goes, I have always had a hard time in believing in the morman religon and its probally not the religon in it self but the people who are trying to sell me on it for as you should know it's a sells job as far as I'M concerned there is no foundation
except a lot of lies. sorry this is not a good subject for me and I should remember what my mother said ,if you can't say some thing nice don't say it, I believe but not in organized religons. well that is enough on that subject.but just to let you know why I am not much help as far as the generatoins go. Well now that I have given my inter most I
will say so long and will write later. Love Aunt Ruth
