LORIS | Pauline Stevens Suggs, 68, wife of Malcolm Elbert Suggs, of U.S.701 South, died Tuesday, July 22, 2003, at Loris Community Hospital.
She was born in Conway, a daughter of the late Sam and Helen Boyd Stevens.
She was of the Baptist faith and a loving wife, mother and grandmother.She was employed with Woods Dime Store for many years.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include a son, Ronald Suggs andhis wife, Rita, of Loris; three daughters, Patricia Tyler and herhusband, Anthony, of Loris, Barbara Martin and her husband, Jerry, ofAynor and Sandra Hardee and her husband, Mitchell, of Clarendon, N.C.;two sisters, Lois Ann Causey of Conway and Shirley Prince and herhusband, Leonard, of Newport News, Va.; nine grandchildren, Wesley andShauna Martin, Bradley, Edward and Colby Suggs, Tony and Tiffany Tylerand Evan and Blake Hardee; a special brother-in-law, Tom Suggs and hiswife, Genese; and a special sister-in-law, Irene Suggs Todd.
She was predeceased by a brother-in-law, J.D. Causey.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 tonight at Ward Funeral Home in Loris.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home chapel. TheRev. Alvin Jackson will officiate. Burial will be in Cane Branch BaptistChurch Cemetery.
