CONWAY - Lessie S. Stevens, 87, of Ninth Avenue, died Tuesday, March 21,2000, at home after an illness.
Born in Loris, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Tempie MaudeStevens.
She was the widow of Walter "Sleepy" Stevens.
She was a member of Jamestown Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Earl "Sleepy" Stevens and his wife, Jackie C.Stevens, of Conway; a daughter, Norma S. Westbury of Myrtle Beach; twograndchildren, James K. Westbury Jr. of Raleigh, N.C., and Stephanie W.Bell of Myrtle Beach.
She was predeceased by a brother, *M. G. Tyler and a son-in-law, James"Jay" K. Westbury Sr.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 tonight at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conwaychapel.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. The Revs.Douglas Newton and Kirk Lawton will officiate. Burial will be inHillcrest Cemetery.
