49.JOSIAH MILLER (Son #48 as proved by names of sisters) will sg. 16 DEC 1832 pr. July Court 1835 No wife or children Sisters: ELIZABETH wife of William Cook, MARY MILLER, MARGARET MILLER, Brother: JAMES MILLER / Ex., James McAliley Jr., Tombstone to my late father, JAMES MILLER / Wit. David Drummond, James S. Young & William Reedy.
*Comments by Andrea Likely the mother, Margaret, had died for she is not named in the will. I wonder if she was a McAliley for both father and son named James McAliley as executor.

50.JOSIAH MILLER (son of ROBERT #44) died 26 AUG 1826 aged 37 (b. 1789) and See #33. His wife was Elizabeth died 27 SEP 1824 aged 30 (b.1794) And by the will of his father, ROBERT, we know the name of one child of this JOSIAH MILLER AND ELIZABETH. He was SAMUEL MILLER.

51.*COMMENTS: Note #45 that a JAMES MILLER m. Jane Paul (See also #20) and we know it was not the JAMES #48 whose wife was Elizabeth. THEN it is likely that JAMES MILLER son of #44 wed Jane Paul. ELIMINATION.

53.ROBERT HUDSON MILLER married Cynthia Jane Davies and had these children: JOHN DAVIES MILLER, CYNTHIA MILLER, LUCINA MILLER, GEORGE HUDSON MILLER, ROBERT LEROY MILLER, JAMES WILLIAMSON MILLER, ALME SELINA MILLER, SARAH MILLER, DAVID MILLER.
*From data sent by Miss Jean Starnes of Ridgeway S.C. Miss Starnes gave no dates and it is hard to place a man with no dates to go by when he was born or died. Miss Starnes stated this ROBERT MILLER was from Kersaw Co..

THESE #s 52 & 53 MUST be the same man.

54.MRS. MARGARET MILLER the widow of SAMUEL MILLER (I hardly think the age will fit for her to be widow of SAMUEL, son of JOSIAH in #50, for this widow was a married daughter in 1848 and I doubt if SAMUEL, son of JOSIAH #50 was born before 1820) will sg. 17 JUN 1848 pr, January Court 1849, EXS: Daughters, ELIZABETH & HARRIET MILLER with John Banks. Children: MARY LEMONS, MARGARET LEE, JANE MILLER, NANCY CURRY, HARRIET MILLER, ELIZABETH MILLER & last two to have all the land & slaves and other to have $1.00 each and what I have already given them. / Wit. David Shannon, Nancy McKeown & Moses McKessie. (likely McKissick)
