Frank Bell, Gloversville, Dies at 85
GLOVERSVILLE - Funeral services for Frank C. Bell, 85, will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Walrath and Bushouer Funeral Home. Mr. Bell, RD 1, died Saturday at the Nathan Littauer Hospital after a long illness. Born in Charleston, N.Y., he had lived in the Gloversville area most of his life. He was a car salesman for many years until his retirement five years ago and was a member of the
First Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Helen M. Wright Bell; a daughter, Mrs. Louis LaMantia . of Gloversville; two stepsons, Richard Schreiber of Watertown and Carl E. Schreiber of Palantine Bridge; three sisters, Mrs. Dewey Stewart of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Mrs. Harold Fox of Schenectady and Mrs. Victor Sutton of Charleston; a brother, Howard Bell of Fonda. Nine grandchildren and 12 greatgrandchildren also survive.
The Rev. William F. Rowe, pastor of the North Main Street United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Ferndale Cemetery. The funeral home will be open from 2 to 4 this afternoon and after 7 tonight.
