AURELIA PREMORE
Fultonville -- Mrs. Aurelia M. Premore, 90, of the Cloisterie Adult Home, formerly of East Lykers Road, died Tuesday at Amsterdam Memorial Hospital, after a short illness.
Born in Charleston, Mrs. Premore attended the one-room Carrytown schoolhouse there. She lived in Charleston area for many years and later in the Albany-Schenectady area for a time before returning to Fultonville about 15 years ago.
She was a nurses aide for Visiting Nurses of Schenectady County before retiring. Mrs. Premore was a member of Charleston Four Corners Church. She also was a member of the Charleston Historical Society.
Her daughter, Dorothy Goodbred, died this past June. ; Survivors include a son, George Premore [sic] of Charleston; a brother, elmer Gordon of Charleston; a sister, Clara Buckingham of Mayfield; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A service will be at 11 this morning at the Jackson & Betz Funeral Home, 15 Main Street. Burial will be at a later date. There will be no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to the Charleston Historical Society.
