OBIT: Alfred Lawrence Dymond, 67, of Meshoppen, died Wednesday at Tyler Memorial Hospital, Tunkhannock. ; Born Jan 23 1931 in Noxen, he was the son of Ruth Thompson Dymond and the late Stanley Dymond. He graduated from Beaumont schools. He worked most of his life as a heavy equipment operator for Operating Engineers Local 542, retiring in 1991. He resided at Bowman's Creek until 1989 and then moved to Auburn Center. Surviving are his wife, the former Jane Brown; daughters, Linda Traver, Noxen; and Debra Wagner, Centermoreland; stepsons Bobby & Bryan Brown, both of Tunkhannock; Randy Brown, Meshoppen, and Rick Brown, Lake Winola; five grandchildren, three gr-grandchildren; 15 stepgrandchildren; one gr-stepgrandchild; sister, Jeanette Corby, Bowmans Creek & several nieces & nephews. Funeral services 11 a.m. Saturday from Nulton Funeral Home, Beaumont w/Rev. Lynn Mowka of Bowmans Creek Free Methodist Church and Rev David Williams of St. Luke's Reformation Church in Noxen. Interment in Orcutts Grove Cem, Noxen.
