In the name of God Amen, Edward Bodle of Hailsham in the county of Sussex, Yeoman, maketh this last will and testament as followeth. Impris I bequeath my soule to God, and my body to be decently buried by my executrix herein after named. Item I give and bequeath to every of my children ( except my son John ), one hundred pounds a piece to be paid to them at their age of one and tweny years or days of marriage and if any of them shall die before ---- they ----- shall attain their said age or marriage, then I will that the share of him or her or them so dying shall be equally divided between the survivors to be paid at their said age or days of marriage.
