FUNERAL SATURDAY FOR A RESIDENT OF ST. JOE Funeral services for Forrest A. Beaty, 66, of Rt. 1, St. Joe, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Baidinger & Walter funeral home at Spencerville, with burial following in the Woodlawn cemetery near Auburn. Mr. Beaty died Wednesday at7:45 p.m. in the DeKalb Memorial hospital in Auburn of a heart seizure. He had been a patient at the hospital for three weeks.
His wife, Lola, lives at the late residence in St. Joe. Other survivors include one son, Chalmer Beaty of St. Joe; one daughter, Mrs. Howard Alwood, Rt. 1, St. Joe; one brother, Charles Beaty of Rt. 3 Auburn; four sisters Mrs. WilliamHarder, Zephyr Hill, Fla., Mrs. Lonnie Summers of Port Richey, Fla, Mrs. Mary Carper, Rt. 3 Auburn and Mrs. Harold Clark, 804 Ensley avenue, Auburn; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Mr. Beaty was a retired farmer and factory worker. He was the son of James and Ida Zollar Beaty.
