Dora Magdalena Kramer, age 94, of Herman, MN passed away on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at the West Wind Village in Morris, MN.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, April 9, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at Herman United Methodist Church in Herman, MN with Rev. Heather E. Klason officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time at the church. Honorary Urn Bearers will be Dora's great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Burial will be in Eden Reformed Cemetery, rural Herman, next to her husband John.
Dora was born the daughter of Frank and Hanna (Cordts) Bruns at Willow Lake, South Dakota on April 24, 1927. She spent her early life on farms in South Dakota, helping at harvest times. Later she worked in cafes in South Dakota and Minnesota. She married John Kramer on November 27, 1943 in Clark, SD and to this union four children were born: Michael, Robert, Glenda and one child that died shortly after birth. Dora helped John in their farming for many years. Dora later did crocheting in her leisure time. John passed away on April 21, 1998. The farming was then done by the two boys and grandson for many years. Dora moved to Pullman House in 2007 and later to West Wind Village.
Dora is survived by her son Bob Kramer of Herman, MN; grandchildren: Bob (Tammi) Kramer of Herman, MN; and Kim Kramer of Herman, MN; great-grandchildren: Kendra Jae (Darrin), Payton Matthew (Kalli), Abbey Magdalene (Dominic), and Andrew John; great-great-grandchildren: Kayden Alexander, Bella, Joseph, Kayden Emerson and Breton.
Dora was preceded in death by her parents; her husband John; son Michael; daughter Sharon Kay; daughter Glenda; three sisters; four brothers; and daughter-in-law Linda.
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to Eden Reformed Cemetery."
