Mrs. Bruns died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Henry Mommer, at Iowa Falls last Friday night. Cancer was the cause of her death. She suffered from this trouble for more than a year and the past few months her suffering was intense. Her remains were brought here by the Beving & Flessner hearse on Saturday and taken to her home in Wellsburg. Funeral services were at the Reformed church in Wellsburg at two o'clock Tuesday afternoon. Mrs. Bruns was 72 years old. She was born in Germany and had been a resident of this community for many years. She is survived by two sons and two daughters. The sons are Henry from Lennox, S.D. and Dick from Bigelow, Minn. The daughters are Mrs. Ase Rust from this county and Mrs. Mommer of Iowa Falls. Mrs. Bruns was held in very high regard by all who knew her.
