"GRAY, ARNOLD 1894-1944 GRAY, SADIE HUISMAN 1897-1979
Arnold Gray, son of Henry, Sr. and Dora Schipper Gray, was born in Bellingwolde, Netherlands April 9, 1894. He and his parents, brothers and sisters came to America in 1903, settling in Hamilton County, near Kamrar, Iowa. On March 6,1918 Arnold married Sadie Huisman, daughter of Folkert and Gretje Naber Huisman of Kamrar. She was born January 25, 1897 near Kamrar.
Shortly after their marriage they moved to the Titonka area where they farmed. They were the parents of nine children:

Richard, married Iola Meinders. Vernon, married Iola Rippentrop. Lester, married Irene Ites Alvin, married Irene Rippentrop. Arlene, married Vern Rafdal. Lois, married Marvin Behrends Dorothy, married Meint Huesman. Lloyd, married Sharon Winter. Larry, married Kathleen Betels.
There were forty-two grandchildren. The family had membership in the Ramsey Reformed Church.
Arnold passed away February 19, 1944. Sadie passed away December 31, 1979."

Obituary
Funeral services for Mrs. Sadie Gray, 82, of Titonka, Iowa were held Thursday, January 3,1980 at the Ramsey Reformed Church in Titonka with the Rev. John E. Janssen officiating. Interment was In the Ramsey Reformed Cemetery at Titonka with Blake Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Gray had died December 31, 1979 at Mercy Hospital, Mason City. Casket bearers were her grandsons. Music was furnished by Mrs. Richard Beenken as organist and Mrs. Roger Rippentrop and Mrs. Lawrence Heyer sang.
She was born January 25, 1897 to Folkert Huisman and Gretje
(Nabor). She was married to Arnold Gray March 6, 1918 at Webster City. She came to the Titonka community from Kamrar, Iowa in 1918. The last few years she had lived at the Titonka Care Center.
Survivors include five sons, Vernon of Corwith, Alvin of Chili, Wisconsin, Lester of Buffalo Center, Lloyd of Rockford, Illinois, and Larry of Titonka, three daughters, Mrs. Vern (Arlene) Rafdal, Mrs. Marvin (Lois) Behrends, and Mrs. Meint (Dorothy) Huisman all of Titonka; a sister, Mrs. Gerrit (Jennie) Naber; 39 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Arnold in 1944; a son; three grandchildren; six brothers,and two sisters.
