Flora McQueen Bunting died May 11, 1834 after a 'protracted illness of Paralysis' On the day of her death, she complained of a headache and in a few hours was 'struck with paralysis of the right side, and lost the power of speech also' Physicians today would report that Mrs. Bunting had a cardiovascular accident (CVA) with the left hemeplegia and aphasia.
