53. JOHN A.4 JUSTICE (SARA3 KEETER, JOHN2, JAMES1) was born 2 Feb 1827 in NC, and died 16 Oct 1870. He married SARAH ANN WALLACE 30 Oct 1845 in Rutherford Co. NC, daughter of SAMUEL WALLACE and MARY CHERRY. She was born 20 Jul 1827 in NC, and died 18 May 1900.

Sarah Ann Wallace Justice's obituary in the Polk Co. [NC] News stated - "18 May 1900, Gilkey [Rutherford Co. NC] Mrs. Sarah A. Justice- daughter of Samuel and Mary Wallace, a granddaughter of William Wallace, Revolutionary soldier, and a great grand daughter of William Porter the first member of the legislature for Rutherford. She was born on the 20th day of July 1827, and was the last member of her family. On the 30th day of Oct. 1845 she became the wife of John A. Justice... who died in Oct 1872 on the same day a son died and she lost three daughters within a months time. ... Mrs. Justice leaves seven children Mr. S. A. and W. M. Justice of Rutherford, L. A. and Z. V. Justice of Spartanburg, Geo C. Justice of Columbus, and Mrs. Daniels and Mrs. Nanney of this county..."
Based upon existing information, there has been no connection made between Sarah Ann Wallace and the William Porter mentioned in her obituary. What information is available shows Sarah Ann's great-grandfather was Samuel F. Porter, father of Ruth Porter, wife of William Wallace. Sarah Ann's aunt, Hannah Porter Wallace was, however, the wife of the aboved mentioned William Porter's son, William D. Porter.
