Msg from Blanche Wallace 9 Jul 2009:
I found indication of a will in William Wallace's Rev War Pension File (#8980) via Heritage Quest. There is an "Application for a New Certificate" dated 14 Nov 1849 where this statement appears: "Joseph Wallace the qualified administrator of the estate of Ruth Wallace, dec'd, Pensioner of the United States ....". I've requested a complete copy of the Pension File from the United States Archives, but that can take up to 6 months to receive.
