Thomas Muse first show up in Pulaski County Kentucky in the 1810 census with Father Richard and probable brother Isaac. Thomas is a proven son of Richard and was named in his will. The following was extracted from Richards will located in Will Book #3 at the Pulaski County Courthouse Ky. "Item I give and bequeath to son Thomas Muse my riding mare and saddle and one hundred and thirty five dollars in money to him and his heirs forever" end quote.
Thomas's household was missed in the 1830 and 1840 census of Pulaski but based on the birth of John Muse it is possible that he was in Virginia during one of two census.
Thomas's exact death date is unknown, however based on his letter of consent (Pulaski Courthouse) for Janice(Jane) Muse to marry Henry Floyd on April 1, 1846 we placed it between 1846-1850.
The children of Thomas are proven through two separate deed records, with exception to those he also consented in writing to marry. These deeds recorded in Deed Book 14 page 208-210 located at the Pulaski County Courthouse Ky.
The marriage of Thomas Muse to Elizabeth Day is recorded in the early marriage records Pulaski Co. in the form of a copy of the original handwritten bond to include a copy of the original handwritten consent of Elizabeth to marry Thomas signed by Francis Day. Surety on the bond was Nathaniel Forbes.
