Alan F. Vosburgh, son of Lieut Col. Frederick G. Vosburgh, has returned to the home of his parents in Bethesda, Md, after spending six weeks at the home of his
grandmother, Mrs. Alice Vosburgh, 102 West First avenue.
A second son of Lieut. Col. Vosburgh. who is serving with the 19th Tactical Command in the 9th Airforce In England, Richard K. Vosburgh, sixteen years of age, has been operated on in the Walter Reed hospital in Washington, D. C, for a knee injury.
Another grandchild of Mrs. Alice Vosburgh, Edwin B. Vosburgh, Jr., fireman 1/e in the U. S. Navy, is located on the west coast awaiting orders to be shipped to the South Pacific theatre. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin B. Vosburgh of Charlotte, N. C.
Both Lieut. Col. Frederick G. Vosburgh and Edwin Vosburgh, Sr., are former residents of Johnstown.
