"One Pierre Perret, BG, was the father of Etiennette Perret who was
married by 1633 to Mr. Melchior de Choudens, of Thoiry, HG, practicien,
registrar of Chateauvieux and Confignon. Melchior was the son of Julien
de Choudens and Marguerite Grangier. Neither Etiennette's birth nor her
marriage is listed in the indexes of the Geneva church records, however,
