CORBIN, Francis 'Fritz' S., "History and Genealogy of The Descendant Families of Miron and Kathrine CORBIN of Lily, South Dakota," p. 41 "Philip Alvin CORBIN, known as "Al". Phillip was born and reared on the family homestead about 2 miles SE of Lily, South Dakota. Al's parents moved off the family farm at about the time he and Verda Fisk were married. The newlyweds lived and farmed the land for at least the next 18 years before moving to Waubay, SD. All three of their children were born at the Lily farm. Alvin died at Waubay in1952 at age 66 years, 3 months. Verda died in 1976 on her 90th birthday."
