HEALY CORBIN (Philip, Lemuel, Philip, James, Clement), "b. June 8, 1799, at Union, Tolland County, Connecticut; m. Nancy Coye, dau. of David and Lucy (Kinney) Coye, Oct 13, 1825. She was b. Dec 16, 1803, at Union; grand dau. of Archibald and Elizabeth (Badger) Coye and great-granddaughter of Nehemiah Coye, who came from Pomfret to Union, and whose father, Nehemiah, came from Scotland.
Healy CORBIN was a farmer on the old homestead at Union, a worthy and useful citizen, holding several offices, and being in the legislature of 1851-2; of a quiet and retiring nature, but a man of strong sympathies and sterling worth; a valued member of the Congregational Church. He removed to Brimfield, Mass., in 1858; d. Oct 21, 1878. She d. May 2, 1878."
