George Allen Knight states in his book Our Wonderful Overton County Heritage that his father John Robert Knight was the great-grandson of Catherine Ann Sevier who was one of Joseph Sevier’s daughters. He says that the Joseph Sevier land and buildings were acquired by his father John Robert Knight and that the Joseph Sevier home was last occupied by his uncle James Tobin Knight. He says that the Joseph Sevier home was later converted into a smokehouse by the Knights.

I have added four speculative daughters to Joseph Sevier and Sarah Elizabeth Cawood. I have done this in order to see if it will pick up any DNA matches in ThruLines. Use this information with caution. I don't know if it is correct.

If anyone has any information on the possible connection of Catherine Ann Sevier and Sally Ryan Tobin please contact me. I would like to trace the children and other descendants of Joseph Sevier and Sarah Elizabeth Cawood. I do not know if that is possible at this point though.
