In the Scotland Census of 1901, at 53, William's occupation was "Letter Press Worchine Printer" and the family resided at 27 Back Street, St. Clement, Dundee, Angus, Scotland. Christina, his wife is shown as 53. Children listed were Hanna (27), Jute Winder; Helen (21), Caman Weaver; Christina (20), Jute Twister; George (16), Jute Bobbal Cartier; Violet (15), Biscint Packer; Ann (12); and Duncan (12). The discrepancy in Ann's age compared to the previous census is unexplained.

In this same census, James Hall (25) is shown as a Blacksmith, married to Ann Hall (22) and living at 35 Campbell Street in Dunfermline, Fife, Scotland.

Christina Wood Hall emmigrated to Oakland, Alameda, CA before 1926 and later moved to Daly City to live with her oldest daughter, Hannah, before she passed away.
