Volgens sommigen is dit niet het tweede (kinderrijke) huwelijk van Anthonius van Kan, maar dat van zijn jongste zoon, die dan rond 1744 geboren moet
zijn.

Geen akte van het 1e huwelijk bekend, ook niet van de geboorte van een Anthonius junior, wat wel gebruikelijk was. Twijfels blijven.
