      Gistermorgen is de 40-jarige losarbeider Albert Suelmann verdronken In de Beetsterwtjk te Sellingen. De man zou op reis gaan en was daarom per fiets om een uur of vijf van huis gegaan. Door de duisternis misleid is hij niet over, maar naast de brug gereden.

      De huizen in de buurt van deze bsug zijn niet aangesloten op het elektriciteitsnet en er is daar dus ook geen straatverlichting.

      Het ongeval gebeurde vlak bij de woning van het slachtoffer. Het waren dan ook zijn buren, die het lijk des morgens zagen drijven. Zij waarschuwden de politie, die het stoffelijk overschot op het droge bracht.

      De heer Suelmann was gehuwd; het echtpaar had geen kinderen.
