    "Hij was een lieve en zorgzame man, vader en opa en stond waar hij kon ons met raad en daad bij. Moeder en wij kwamen op de eerste plaats. Bij alles wat hij deedvond vader veel steun in zijn geloof. Toen vader ziek wer voelden wij angst en twijfel. Uiteindelijk werd de twijfel zekerheid: vader zou niet meer genoezen . Door de openheid binnen eht gezin en onsgeloof konden we berusten in het naderende afscheid.


    De wens om al zijn kinderen op hun plekje te zien komen, is uitgekomen al had hij hiervan wel wat langer willen genieten.
