Willem, de oudste zoon van Bernard Heinrich Suelmann (18) werd op 27-6-1845 in Rütenbrock geboren. Hij trouwde, Rütenbrock 21-7-1868, met Maria Alida Cornelia Emmerink, geboren 4-7-1846 te Coevorden.


In Rütenbrock werd hun eerste kind, Bernard Heinrich, geboren. Door een verschrijving werd hij een Suhlmann. Hier komt Willem Suelmann het eerst voor bij een overlijdensaangifte op 8-6-1869. Hij werd hier Meer-Wilm genoemd omdat zijn ouders lang in Hebelermeer gewoond hadden.


Ze woonden hier eerst in de Maatschappij. Een korte tijd hebben ze in Barger-Oosterveld gewoond, daarna woonden ze hier op de Streek ten westen van de Runde, zuidelijk van de Postweg. Willem Suelmann overleed hier op 14-7-1916. Zijn vrouw stierf op 10-1-1928 te Barger-Oosterveld bij één van de kinderen.


Ze woonden eerst in de Maatschappij. Een korte tijd hebben ze in Barger-Oosterveld gewoond, daarna woonden ze  op de Streek:  naar het zuiden toe vanaf de Postweg stonden twee woningen schuin achter de boerderij van Herman Schulte. Beide woningen stonden nog op het bovenveen, terwijl rondom alles al was afgegraven. 'Meer Wilm' bewoonde het huisje ten noorden van de rooilijn. Omdat vervener Schadenberg de ondergrond wil afgraven bouwt hij voor de familie Suelmann een woonhuis aan Westra's wijk pal op de wallekant.


Het tweede huisje werd bewoond door het gezin Robben- Koiter. Via een zandpad ten zuiden van  de woning konden ze hun woning bereiken. De familie Robben verhuisde in 1963 naar de Postweg en liet daar een nieuwe woning bouwen. . Het stukje hoogveen waarop de woning stond is ontgonnen en in 2013 in gebruik als Landbouwgrond door Robben.
