Geb. ?apr 1708, ged. ?17 apr 1708?, begr. ?9 dec 1788 te Rijnsburg, Bij overlijden van Jan Zandbergen werd vermeld: "oud omtrent 88 jaar", hetgeen dus niet geheel klopt. Jan werd klasse-4 begraven.. Beroep(en): Bouwman
De erfgenamen van Floris Berendrecht tranporteerden op 11-02-1737 aan Jan Teeuwisz. Zandbergen een bouwwoning, Bestaande uit twee huizen, erf en hooiberg aan het Moleneind. Jan had er bij de openbare verkoping 480 gulden voor geboden.
De boerderij lag aan de noordzijde van de Vliet, op de hoek van de Brouwersteeg. (ref: kohier 97 en R.A. Rijnsburg inv. nr.13. f.37).

Op 11-08-1779 verbond Jan Zandbergen zijn huis (Kohier 97) voor de lening van 1100 gulden, die zijn broer Jacob had opgenomen bij Petrus Mejan. (ref: R.A. Rijnsburg inv. nr. 16, f. 117)
