Hij verzoekt Jan Sire Westerheuvel, zijn schoonvader, als voogd aan te stellen. Met hem komt hij overeen dat hij in het bezit mag blijven van de gehele boedel, zonder staat en inventaris te leveren en zonder cautie te stellen of iets diergelijks. De kinderen krijgen elk 3 gld. Als hij hertrouwt dient hij 6 gld bij de Weeskamer te deponeren [hetgeen op 30.4.1742 gebeurt].
