Sir James Douglas of Hermiston and of Lothiand. before 20 April 1323not to be confused with Sir James “The Good” Douglas, Lord of DouglasSir James Douglas of Lothian was the son of William Douglas of Hermiston.2 He married Joan (?).2 Sir James received the lands of Kincavil and Calderelece from King Robert I in 1315. He was the father of five children prior to his death circa 1323.
