== Biography ==
John was born about 1515. He passed away about 1580.

==Research Notes==According to her profile, the wife attached, Anne Hutchinson LNAB unknown, married her third husband John Hutchinson in 1555, at which time her name was Clinte, and she died in 1586 still with the name Hutchinson. She had three children by the marriage to Clinte. So if she were married to John Armigal Pickering, he would have to have died shortly after the birth of Anthony in 1545, certainly before 1551, not 1580 as shown. However, there is no evidence of this marriage.
The only known marriage of son Anthony is in 1594, so unless this was a second marriage, he is likely to have been born after 1545.
No evidence found for John Armigal Pickering at the moment. He is on over 500 Ancestry trees usually as son of "Sir Richard Pickering D'Armagil Hedon" and "Lady Jane Lewknor, Lady of Trotton & Sussex", probably based on [[Lewknor-69|Joan Lewknor]] but no sources are given. He is said to have married Ann Marbury in 1859 in Lancashire or 1544 in Suffolk. Some trees show a burial of John Pickering of Howden on 17 February 1591Yorkshire, East Riding : Howden : St Peter : Transcript : "Parish Register" database, FreeREG (https://www.freereg.org.uk/search_records/5817e285e93790ec75828e40 : viewed 19 Nov 2021) burial John Pickering 17 Feb 1590/1 but there are several John Pickerings at Howden and none have a wife or son of the names given here.
