He was one of the overseers of her father [[Holbrook-89|William Holbrook]]'s will. Clement and Rebecca (Holbrook) Weaver immigrated to New England and settled in Weymouth, Massachusetts Bay Colony. They were next door neighbors of Thomas Holbrook, with whom Clement Weaver was in partnership in many land and other business dealings."A. Somerset, England shortly before Feb.1,1626 when his will dated Dec.11,1625 was probated. In it he mentions his sons Thomas, John, if living, William the younger, daughter Basell Holbrook, and three grandchildren - Thomas Holbrook Jr., Edmund Tyly, and Clement Weaver Jr. Son William Holbrook executor and residuary legatee, and Clement Weaver Sr. and Thomas Tylye overseers.Registered wills at Wells, General Court 45:36, as given in the Weaver Family (1928) by Lucius E. Weaver).
