== Biography ==
Born about 1510, the daughter of [[Grenville-7|Sir Roger Grenville]] who lived at Stowe in the Cornish parish of Kilkhampton and his wife [[Whitleigh-3|Margaret Whitleigh]], she married [[Specott-5|Edmund Specott]] who lived at Thornbury in Devon and they had eight children, seven of whom married. ==Research Note==One of the problems with ancient profiles is the lack of consistent spelling. Her father is variously spelt Grenville, Greenville, Grenfeld, and possibly others. Her married name is seen both as Speccott and Specott.
