== Introduction to "Ash, antient seat of the Drakes" ==Ash is in the parish of Musbury in the county of East Devon, England, United Kingdom. Ther is a picture of "Ash antient seat of the Drakes" a watercolor dated 13 February 1795 by Rev. John Swete. This is the house rebuilt by Sir John Drake, 2nd Baronet (1647-1684) after near destruction during the Civil War. The building at left is a chapel.
Ash is in the parish of Musbury in the county of East Devon, England. It is a historic estate where the ancient Drake family have resided for a long time.
