Jan wordt Dirckzoon genoemd, in onderscheiding van zijn neef en zwager Jan van Dompseler WIJNANDSZOON. <p>De vrouw van Dirckzoon was een zus van zijn vrouw Aalbertje van Dompseler, tevens neef van Dirckzoon.</p> <p>Jan van Dompseler WIJNANDSZ en Jan van Dompseler DIRCKZ als man van Alberta van Dompseler maakten op 6 augustus 1720 een magenscheid over de goederen van hunne ouders, broeders en zusters aangeerfd. welke 15 januari 1723 ten opzichte van de heerengoederen geapprobeerd werd. <p>Aan Jan van Dompseler DERCKZ. werden daarbij toebedeeld: Esveld, Schothorst en Sorgstam, een heerengoed in het ambt Barneveld in Kallenbroeker Boeihoek, wat zijn neef en zwager ook tot dien tijd bezeten had. <p>Hij werd 12 maart 1692 en 25 maart 1699 tot diaken en in 1707 en 1714 tot ouderling te Barneveld gekozen.</p>
