Hannah Key committed suicide by cutting her throat and was found by her seven year old son James.

A year later JOSEPH MYATT was sent to Stafford prison for neglect of the children and the six youngest of seven were put in Stone Workhouse - about this time GERTRUDE BOULTON fell pregnant with CHARLES WILLIAM BOULTON and JOSEPH MYATT was around the workhouse petitioning for the release of his children so it is assumed that he is CHARLES WILLIAM BOULTON'S father, but did not want to pay for CHARLES and saw GERTRUDE BOULTON as a handy way to get both lots of kids out of the workhouse.
