(Research):Lt Col Militia, retired. Farm 340 acres employe d 14 men + 6 boys.Magistrate, 1851. Reported in the Mercury that about 15,000 people lined the route to his midnight burial at St Marys Lichfield, a Royal Priviledge.

He may be the Col Dyott who owned Darnford Mill?

He presented a Mayoral badge and chain to Lichfield, for a reception of the Shah of Persia, 1873.

He may also be the Captain Dyott who was president of the South Staffs Railways.
