Antoine Barrois sold his property at Laprairie on 16 November 1682. In the fall of the following year the family relocated to Albany, New York, where on 5 November 1683 "Antho. Barwa" requested permission to dwell, on behalf of himself, his wife Annetje Lieber, and their six children. He took the oath of allegiance at Albany on 6 January 1686/7. He died at Albany some time after 6 January 1686/7, when he took the oath of allegiance, and before 20 December 1689, when "Anne Elbur, widow of Antoine Barroa" was remarried at Albany.[2]
Anne's second husband was Hillebrand Lootman, son of Jan Lootsman and Witsje Hilbrants.[3]
By the summer of 1699, Anne returned to Laprairie, Quebec, with her husband Hillebrand Lootman. Two of Hillebrand's sons were baptized in the Catholic church there on 26 July 1699. On 8 November 1699, Herbrand Lootman, husband of Anne Leber, was baptized as a Catholic at Notre-Dame de Montréal. With his rebaptism, he took the new name of Jean Baptiste.[4]
