He had a relationship with Elizabeth of la Roche.
Child(ren):
A case in Chancery between 1558 and 1603 shows that the manor of Le Roches in Carmarthenshire came into the possession of the Reede family of Carmarthen from the family of Gruffud Nicholas.[2] Thomas Rede (c. 1390 - c. 1455) of Carmarthen had married Jonet a daughter of Gruffudd ap Nicholas, with the property remaining in the family until 1572.[3]An earlier connection between the de la Roche family of Carmarthenshire and the (apparently distinct) Redes of Troughend in Redesdale Northumberland seems unlikely.
Leaving the facts, but I do not believe the LDS pedigree source is accurate.[4]
NOTE: Change of Surname from REDE to READE "and" Places of Birth & Death are recorded incorrectly hence, Reversed!
