Karel Frederik van Anhalt-Bernburg (1668-1721) was een zoon van Victor Amadeus van Anhalt-Bernburg en Elisabeth van Rijnland-Palts-Zweibrücken. Hij volgde in 1718 zijn overleden vader op als vorst van Anhalt-Bernburg, maar sterft zelf al na 3 jaar. Karel Frederik was gehuwd met gravin Sophia Alberrtina van Solms-Sonnnenwalde (1672-1708) en nadien met Charlotte Neuslar (1683-1740), en was vader van:
* Elisabeth Albertina (1693-1774), gehuwd met vorst Günther van Schwarzburg-Sonderhausen 1678-1740)
* Frederik Willem (1694-1694)
* Charlotte (1696-1762), gehuwd met vorst August van Schwarzburg-Sondershausen (1691-1750)
* Augusta Wilhelmina (1697-1767)
* Victor Frederik (1700-1765)
