Standige Habitués des markgraflichen Hofes waren damals Graf Friedrich Wilhelm von Schwerin (1729-1803) und seine Frau Beata Sophie Grafin von Burghauss (1733-1789). Schwerin war ein Neffe des friderizianischen Feldmarschalls Curt Christoph. Er hatte innerhalb zweier Jahre sein ganzes Vermogen und das seiner Frau durchgebracht und lebte nun von der Grosszugigkeit der Markgrafin. 1764 musste er Konkurs anmelden und nach dem Tod Sophies verlor er wohl hanzlich den Halt, denn von 1767 bis 1786 war er auf der Festung Magdeburg interniert und 1769 wurde er geschieden.
