9 April starb zu Kassel der hessenkasselsche Generallieutenant, Commandeun der zweiten Garde und Gonverneur der Residenz, Ernst Christoph Wilhelm von Bardeleben, von denen welche die damals in Kassel in Flor stehende Religionsspötterei und Gottesleugnung in eifrigen Schutz nahmen wie denn namentlich der bekannte Lottobetrüger May (in den Wirtshäufern wo er seine Gotteslästerungen auskramte von den damaligen Bürgern Kassels nicht selten mit Stockschlägen widerlegt) sich des besondern Patronats des Generals v. Bardeleben zu erfreuen hatte.
