Jonge, Mr. Cornelis de, heer van Baardwijk, geb. 12 juli 1512, rentmeester van het huis van Wassenaar 1542-1547, raad in het Leenhof van Holland 1548-1577, hoogheemraad van Delfland 1544-1573, rekenmeester bij het Hof van Holland 1553-1578, stadhouder van de heer van Wassenaar 1556, beleend18 maart 1559, 1 februari 1568 en 27 april 1579, woonde in Den Haag 1564, uit zijn ambt van hoogheemraad ontslagen vanwege zijn koningsgezindheid en vlucht naar Utrecht in 1572, overl. Utrecht 1578, begr. in de Sint Catharinakerk aldaar, zoon van Jacob de Jonge, heer va Baardwijk, en Jvr. Clementia Jacobsdr. Pijnsen (Pynssen).
Hij huwde vóór 30 november 1537 met Jvr. Anna Joost Sasbout, beleend met 4½ morgen land 5 december 1547 na het overlijden van haar vader, overl. 1595, dochter van Mr. Joost van Sasbout(s), ridder, heer van Spaland, en Catharina van der Meer.
