Hij is anno 1629 in een treffen met d'viant op d'Velwe gequest, en binnen Ahrnem den 6 Augusti gestorven, en aldaer in d'Grote Kerck begraven onder een sarck, waer 't wapen is gehouwen.
Sine 2e vrou MEGTELT D'VOS VAN STEENWIJCK, sine weduwe heeft anno 1633 6 September gekost dy haevesaet BENTHUIS in Overijssel binnen Vollenhoe. Sij is gestorven anno 1653 aetatis suae 73 op Benthuis, en binnen Vollenhoe begraven.
