Jacob, geb. 1678, commissaris der posterijen te Amsterdam, huwde Alida Backer. Zijne zonen lieten geen kinderen na en zijne dochter Isabella, geb. 1704, overl. 8 Dec. 1774, trad 2 Maart 1737 in den echt met H. H. van Haersma, rentmeester-generaal der domeinen in Friesland, geb. 1709, overl. 8 Feb. 1780. Uit dit huwelijk sproten drie dochters en een zoon, die zich Boreel van Haersma noemde, welke vereenigde namen op zijne afstammelingen zijn overgegaan.
