Joris Hoefnagel of George Hoefnagel (Antwerpen, 1542 - Wenen, 9 september 1600 of 24 juli 1601) was een Zuid-Nederlands schilder en prentkunstenaar. Hij was zoon van de diamant-handelaar Jacob Hoefnagel en zijn vrouw Elisabeth Vezelaer, dochter van de Antwerpse muntmeester Joris Vezelaer.
Hij reisde veel, maakte vele tekeningen van archeologische onderwerpen en was leerling van Hans Bol in Mechelen. Later verbleef hij bij Rudolf II, destijds koning van Hongarije, en stierf in 1601 in Wenen.
Tijdens zijn reizen naar Engeland rond 1569-1570, schilderde Hoefnagel een van zijn bekendste werken: A Fête at Bermondsey, een panorama van een Engels genootschap.
