Joachim Franz Humbert von Preußen (* 17. Dezember 1890 in Berlin; † 18. Juli 1920 in Potsdam) war der sechste Sohn des Kaisers Wilhelm II. und seiner ersten Gemahlin, Kaiserin Auguste Viktoria.

Leben
Er wurde am 17. Dezember 1890 in Berlin geboren. Seine Schulzeit verbrachte er, wie auch seine Brüder, im Plöner Prinzenhaus. Er trat nach seiner militärischen Ausbildung 1911 in das 1. Garde-Regiment zu Fuß ein. In der Schlacht an den Masurischen Seen wurde der Rittmeister durch einen Oberschenkelschuss verwundet. Am 11. März 1916 heiratete er Prinzessin Marie Auguste von Anhalt. Diese Ehe verlief jedoch nicht glücklich. Das Ehepaar hatte einen gemeinsamen Sohn, Karl Franz Joseph von Preußen.
Die Gründe, warum er am 17. Juli 1920 (Tod einen Tag später) Suizid verübte, liegen im Dunklen, doch scheint ein Zusammenspiel aus depressiver Veranlagung, dem Sturz der Monarchie in Deutschland 1918 und den Scheidungswünschen seiner Ehefrau kurz nach dem Zusammenbruch der Monarchie als wahrscheinlich.
