Johan Adolf II van Saksen-Weißenfels (Weißenfels, 4 september 1682 — Altenburg of Leipzig, 16 mei 1746) was een zoon van hertog Johan Adolf I van Saksen-Weißenfels en Joanna Magdalena van Saksen-Altenburg. In 1736 volgde hij zijn broer Christiaan op als hertog van Saksen-Weißenfels.
Johan Adolf II was gehuwd met :
Joanneta Antoinette van Saksen-Eisenach (1698-1726), dochter van hertog Johan Willem van Saksen-Eisenach,
Frederica van Saksen-Gotha-Altenburg (1715-1775), dochter van hertog Frederik II van Saksen-Gotha-Altenburg,
en werd vader van:
Frederik Johan Adolf (1722-1724)
Karel Frederik Adolf (1736-1737)
Johan Adolf (1738-1738)
August Adolf (1739-1740)
Johan George Adolf (1740-1740)
Friederica Adolphina (1741-1751).
